Hello, My
name is Wesley Halbert. Welcome to my web site.
I've been riding motorcycles since the age of 15. Started out
with dirt bikes, then on to street bikes. I stopped riding for
awhile, then again in my late forties. My bike of choice is a '99 FLSTF
(FATBOY) ,and I'm enjoying the hell out of it, more than ever.
Being that I live on the west coast, I go to a lot of
runs out here; Laughlin, Hollister, Love Run, Glendale,CA. & a lot
of the smaller ones. Sooner or later, I'd like to make it back
to Florida for Daytona & even Sturgis. Life has been quite
different in the last 6 years, a life Free from drugs & alcohol,
and that's not easy, but a 12 step program saved my life.
I now have a little girl, and am working a
steady job, which wouldn't have been possible, with the reckless life
I had before. I have so much to be grateful for, I wouldn't
know where to start, only thing I seem to remember is to do life
1 day at a time, and just don't pick up that 1st drink. I'm not saying
that life's a breeze now, but when problems arise, they seem a lot
easier to deal with, than before. (Thank God for that!).
